According to the Ukrainian prosecutor's office, the threat of Chubarov's arrest is an attempt to intimidate the pro-Ukrainian movement to “return” Crimea.
“Such a decision is a political whim of criminals who illegally usurped power on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. This is another unsuccessful attempt to legitimize the chaos that now reigns on the territory of the occupied peninsula.
The quasi-judicial decision to “arrest” Refat Chubarov is an attempt to intimidate those who are fighting against the arbitrariness of the aggressor country, which seeks to break the unity of Ukraine and prevent the restoration of sovereignty over Crimea.
