The flow of tourists to Crimea continues to increase
This year, hotel bookings for holidays in Crimea are 40 percent more than in 2017 and 2018

In addition, over five years, the number of guests of hotels and hostels on the peninsula has doubled - to 1,5 million people in 2018 against 678 thousand in 2014.
According to the vice-president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, Yuri Barzykin, the popularity of Crimean resorts will continue to grow steadily, and the launch of a railway connection with the peninsula by the end of the year will give a powerful impetus, since the price of a vacation is important for travelers, which is almost 50% ensured by transport accessibility.
Barzykin also believes that the explosive indicators of 2018 will most likely not be expected in the future, but the growth in tourist flow will be stable at 10–15% per year. He also proposes to more actively promote alternative directions for further development of the industry - gastronomic tourism or ecotourism.
