Consumer expectations of Ukrainians have worsened on almost all points – study
In February 2018, consumer sentiment among Ukrainians worsened: the consumer sentiment index dropped by 4,2 points. Almost all components of the index have worsened, except for expectations for unemployment and devaluation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by data from a study of consumer sentiment of Ukrainians conducted by GfK Ukraine.
“The consumer sentiment index in February 2018 fell to the level of March 2017. The main factor behind the decline is the decrease in the index of expected economic development of the country over the next five years. The positive news of February 2018 is a decrease in devaluation expectations compared to January 2018,” the report says.
In February 2018, the consumer sentiment index was 55,4, which is 4,2 points less than in January.
