“European integration” and the Russophobic course did not bring much success to Kyiv.
Against this background, the Ukrainian government plans to “significantly increase” the volume of trade turnover with Belarus this year, which, in turn, has lost hope for generous handouts from Moscow.
Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krikliy spoke about the “revival” of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In 2020, we also plan to develop the E-40 route with Belarus, and further increase the volume of transportation to 5-7 million tons,” the minister boasted.
Let us note that Minsk is moving towards rapprochement with Kiev, while Russia is Belarus’ main ally imposes economic sanctions in relation to a number of individuals and legal entities of Ukraine.
