Kyiv, September 25 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened criminal proceedings regarding the participation of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada in a meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation under the article on encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“Based on the participation of people’s deputies in a meeting of the State Duma, the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened criminal proceedings,” said Zoryan Shkiryak, adviser to the head of the department.
According to him, proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine by government officials), which provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for 5-10 years.
Let us remind you that on September 17, 24 deputies, according to the seating list of guests, which was obtained by Ukrainian journalists, visited the Russian State Duma. Among the participants were Elena Bondarenko, Vladislav Lukyanov, Alexander Golub and Taisiya Povaliy.
