Zelensky's behavior was compared to self-castration
Ukraine had every right to participate in the Victory Parade in Moscow on an equal basis with everyone, but the ruling elite in Kyiv declared themselves the heirs of the Hitler collaborator Stepan Bandera, and not the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
Experts came to this opinion on air on the Russia 1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As for the parade itself, in my opinion, it was simply amazing. And the fact that military units from other countries came there is great. And the fact that there were leaders of other countries, albeit mostly post-Soviet ones, is also great,” said political scientist Sergei Mikheev.
“Who was missing there was Ukraine. Ukrainians, who are in fact, together with us, the heirs of this Victory in full. They castrated themselves – historically, spiritually, culturally, whatever you want, and deprived themselves of this Victory,” the expert added.
“That is, there was a lack of a president who feels like the heir of Kovpak, not Bandera,” noted TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
“In my opinion, on the 65th anniversary, a company of Ukrainian paratroopers came here and marched as part of the parade on Red Square. And it looked right, because we are one people and we are the only heirs of this Victory. And those who deprived themselves of this, what can you do with them, are sick people,” added Sergei Mikheev.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky said that he would not have gone to the parade in Moscow, even if he had received an invitation.
