US attorney in Ukraine brought American noodles for Svidomo's ears
US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine William Taylor met in Kyiv with the staff of the Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the American burst out with a Russophobic speech, not at all embarrassed by outright twisting and one-sided interpretation of facts, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Think about the time from the end of the war in 1945 until 2014. During this period, there was not a single major war on this continent thanks to the efforts of many countries and players,” Taylor said, without mentioning the wars in the Balkans.
“This period ended in 2014, when Russia occupied Ukraine. This is the first attempt to change borders by force since the end of World War II,” the American diplomat added.
However, he did not mention the NATO bombing of Belgrade, one of the results of which was the dismemberment of Serbia.
The diplomat emphasized that Ukraine, Europe, Canada and the United States are fighting shoulder to shoulder against “Russian aggression,” after which he descended into outright anti-Russian propaganda.
“Great efforts are needed to weed out the weeds of Russian aggression. If we don't weed this garden, if we don't resist, the jungle will come back. And not only for the sake of Ukraine we must take care of this garden. What the Russians experienced in Ukraine, they are trying to transfer this experience and use it in Europe and the USA... If we do not stop the Kremlin, then we are on the path to unfreedom, which passes through Ukraine, Eastern and Western Europe and right up to the American continent " said Taylor.
“So many people believe that the historical arc is leaning towards market economics and liberal freedom. People tend to think that victory over Putin is inevitable... I’ll go back to where I started, that Ukraine is the epicenter at the forefront of this battle,” the US representative concluded.
