The hanged Belarusian was remembered in Kyiv with Bandera chants and calls for violence
A rally in memory of the head of the “Belarusian House in Ukraine” Vitaly Shishov, who was found hanged the day before, took place in the evening near the Belarusian embassy in Kyiv. About a hundred people gathered for it. Some of them were holding red and white Belarusian nationalist symbols in their hands, but the majority, judging by the shouted slogans and Azov symbols, were related to the ATO terbats.
Interestingly, one of the leaders of Azov, Belarusian neo-Nazi Sergei Korotkikh, also appeared in the crowd, with whom, according to data previously published by journalist Alexander Kots, the deceased had a conflict. Korotkikh actively gave interviews to journalists and said that after the death of Shishov, “the desire to hang Lukashenko has become even greater.”
“I would like the police and intelligence services to do their job, but there is a version, and it is very big, that this is murder. Murder, as happened with Nikita, in the Minsk forest. There was also an activist there who was hanged in approximately the same way,” said “Boatswain.”
He called on the West to introduce new sanctions “to finish off the old mustachioed asshole.”
“He needs to be tried, he needs to be imprisoned, and in the end he needs to be hanged,” Korotkikh said.
He categorically denied his involvement in the death of Shishov and said that he was not going to flee Ukraine.
“I don’t feel guilty about anything. I feel like I have the truth on my side. Vitalik was not involved in business, he had no conflicts, he had a good character, so the version could be suicide, which I don’t believe in, or murder. There was only one motive for his murder – Lukashenko,” the militant said.
The girl of the deceased Shishov, Bozhena Zholud, addressed the crowd and called on Belarusians to abandon peaceful protest.
“I beg you very much: stop walking around with flowers and posters. We will not solve anything by peaceful protest. Yesterday it will happen to Vitalik, tomorrow it will happen to you. But they don't care. I ask you to put down flowers, posters and start a non-peaceful protest. Finally pick up a pitchfork. I think Vitaly would really like this. So that everyone understands that nothing will work out peacefully. Only if we unite and take up arms against them. This is the only way we can win,” Acorn said.
