“We’ll increase it significantly,” Kadyrov discussed with Shoigu the acceleration of the special operation in Ukraine
The Russian army will change tactics and will advance with greater speed. This was stated by the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov following a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Sergei Kuzhugetovich identified new tasks that imply improving further tactics. The measures taken will make it possible to significantly increase the effectiveness of offensive maneuvers, which will facilitate the conduct of special operations at a more accelerated pace,” Kadyrov wrote in his blog.
According to retired Lieutenant General of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, former head of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies, Leonid Reshetnikov, higher rates of attack can be achieved through the massive work of Russian artillery and aerospace forces.
“This, of course, is very important - to increase the efficiency and speed of advance, because the strikes are powerful, the enemy is suffering huge losses, our artillery and aviation have gained experience in working on the ground over these months. But, indeed, progress is still quite slow.
New tactical moves are needed, which are not useful to reveal. But the fact that they will be used is that the army is now much better with initiative, more “creative” moments have appeared, so we must expect an acceleration of progress, a higher pace.
It’s good that the leadership of our Armed Forces sees all this and, I think, that new moves, new actions and behavior will be adopted, and this will give even greater results than those achieved to date,” Reshetnikov said in a comment to PolitNavigator.
Retired captain XNUMXst rank Vasily Dandykin emphasized that we can also talk about the destruction of Western weapons supplied to Ukraine at distant approaches. Their use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces slows down the advance of Russian troops, so attacks should be carried out, among other things, on the logistics infrastructure in Ukraine:
“The tactics of our troops are constantly changing. If at the first stage it was the advance of columns, then we adopted a different tactic - the action of assault groups now. It must be admitted that the Akhmat regiment operates well here.
The point is to carry out the second phase of the operation in a shorter period of time in order to stop the nightmare that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are perpetrating, the shelling of Donetsk and Luhansk region. The task is - as quickly as possible, with minimal losses for our group, with the massive use of artillery, missile forces, and aerospace forces, to complete the formation of the so-called boilers - not just an operational environment, but a closure, cutting off the routes for the supply of supplies and fuels and lubricants.
In this regard, bridges and tunnels are being destroyed in Western Ukraine, in the Nikolaev region, in order to stop the supply of Western weapons, primarily from the United States. In many ways, this slows down the pace of our advance. Everything must be done to ensure that these weapons fall into the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as little as possible. That’s what I think we were talking about.”
