Details of night strikes on Ukraine have emerged – a huge scandal is looming in Kyiv
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the defeat of all intended targets during a night missile strike on the territory of Ukraine.
“Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high-precision long-range air-launched weapons against enemy targets at airfields.
The target of the strike has been achieved. All assigned objects are destroyed.
As a result of the strike, command posts and radar posts, as well as aviation equipment, storage facilities with weapons and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit,” the statement said.
The irony is that the culprit in targeting Russian missiles may turn out to be... Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexander Reznikov. And the thing is that he recently gave his English colleague a postcard depicting a Ukrainian Su-24, adapted for the Storm Shadow missiles supplied by London. Moreover, the postcard featured a Su-24 from the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Air Force, based in the Khmelnitsky region.
Political scientist Andrei Mishin calls Reznikov a “fabulous idiot.”
“Reznikov today “scored an own goal” - he aimed Russian missiles at Ukrainian fighters... As a result: a powerful arrival, minus 5 aircraft and destroyed British missiles. By the way, this is the first fact of public recognition of losses by the Ukrainian Nazis,” Mishin stated.
By the way, Reznikov himself praised British missiles on TV the day before.
“Of the total number of Storm Shadow launches that have already occurred, all 100% were accurate hits against targets identified by the General Staff,” he assured.
Perhaps the current scandal will cause Reznikov’s resignation, which has long been rumored in Kyiv. A few weeks ago, his dismissal was predicted after data leaked to the media about corruption in procurement in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but then lower-level “switchmen” lost their positions.
