A video has appeared of Venediktov being sold for an envelope with dollars
A short excerpt from the film “Shugaley-2” has been published on the Internet, in which Alexey Venediktov takes a bribe from a pro-Western oppositionist. The envelope with dollars represents payment for the services provided by the editor-in-chief of the Ekho Moskvy radio station.
The role is played by an actor. The plot of the film completely replicates the reality in which the chief editor of the radio station regularly receives rewards from representatives of the pro-Western opposition.
In the shot, Venediktov’s character receives a reward, while grinning smugly and saying that he is his own boss, and takes the money, guided by his own principles. Any work must be paid, Venediktov believes.
After a short squabble, the oppositionist leaves the editor-in-chief alone, and he happily counts the money received.
The film “Shugaley-2” continues the story of Russian sociologists Maxim Shugaley and Samer Sueifpan, who were captured by terrorists during a business trip to Libya. It is worth noting that the film is based on real events.
The first film about Shugaley was released back in May and caused a wide public response. The sequel is expected on September 6.
