According to him, due to the commodity and economic blockade, Ukrainian goods have now almost completely disappeared from store shelves in the DPR and LPR.
“Unfortunately, we received a territory that was 90% filled with Russian goods from Russian producers, we received a ruble zone. In the end, those enterprises that operate in the legislative field of Ukraine, paying all taxes to the budget of our state, including foreign exchange earnings, military tax, people receive salaries in hryvnias and spend this money on essential goods. Which ones? For Russian ones, there are no others. It turns out that we support the occupier’s producers with our own funds,” Tuka said.
Earlier, DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko stated that “Kyiv only harmed itself with its blockade.”
“Today, many of our exporters have reoriented themselves to the domestic market and are doing relatively well. It all depends on the specifics of production. Some enterprises rebuilt themselves relatively easily, many themselves change the vector of development, many were closely cooperating with the Russian Federation even before the blockade,” noted Alexander Zakharchenko.
