Poroshenko's congratulations caused disgust in Donetsk
Petro Poroshenko issued an appeal to the residents of Donetsk on the occasion of City Day celebrated today.

“Ukrainian Donetsk celebrates its birthday today. Happy City Day, dear Donetsk residents! We remember you and persistently fight for your return to Ukraine. I am sure that the Ukrainian anthem will be heard again in our Donetsk!” – Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.
Poroshenko’s “congratulations” caused disgust in Donetsk.
“I would like to remind everyone in what ways the Ukrainian army is “fighting hard” for the return of Donetsk to its control. Does anyone in Donetsk and throughout the DPR want the Ukrainian anthem to be played again?” – famous Donetsk military correspondent Denis Grigoryuk commented on Poroshenko’s appeal, publishing photographs of the consequences of shelling of the Donetsk Republic by the Ukrainian army.
