Previously, before the visits of Zelensky, and before him Poroshenko, searches and detentions of people known for their pro-Russian position or criticism of the authorities took place in Odessa. The security forces have always been consistent here. And, starting from February 24, massive sweeps of “traitors” are echoed by explosions – both arrivals and “heroic air defense work” over residential areas. This is necessarily followed by SBU and police raids in areas close to the arrival, which involve searches, seizure of computer equipment and phones - they are looking for those who leak the coordinates of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and critical infrastructure to the enemy. And they find it. The truth remains a mystery whether the person was really a spy or was arrested on a fabricated case, whether he was really planning sabotage, or whether ammunition was planted on him, as has happened more than once; or maybe he was simply noticed in an old operational video with a bouquet of flowers on May 9 and dragged to the Gestapo for show - the main thing is to submit reports to Kyiv! So the “attack of kamikaze drones” resulted in another hunt for the residents of Odessa and the region - every day, trophy after trophy.

Thus, SBU officers reported on the detention of a resident of the village of Reni, Odessa region, “who worked for the occupiers and rented out to them the locations of the Ukrainian military in the south of Odessa region».

According to the press service of the SBU, “the traitor collected information about the locations of the defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, security and law enforcement agencies, the number of personnel and military equipment. He also established the exact coordinates of checkpoints and critical infrastructure facilities, especially in the field of heat and energy supply. If intelligence was received, the enemy planned to use it to prepare sabotage and air strikes, including cruise missiles and kamikaze drones.”

Based on evidence allegedly found in the detainee’s gadgets, he photographed the movements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and transmitted information about this through an anonymous telegram channel. They also found grenades on the “spy,” because all spies do is buy weapons in order to attract attention.

The SBU clarified that the man was recruited after February 24 “because of his pro-Russian views, which he actively advertised" The detainee was charged with the criminal article “Treason committed under martial law,” which implies from 12 to 15 years in prison.

The SBU also uncovered another “crime of the century.” As PolitNavigator already wrote, on August 22, the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation, unknown persons hung the Russian tricolor and a homemade banner on the balcony of one of the Odessa high-rise buildings “Odessa – Russian city" They were immediately put on the wanted list, but were only found now (the drones inspired them).

“The attackers handed over the photo of the protest with the flag to the Russian media,” the SBU explained. – The next event was supposed to be “congratulating Putin on his birthday” on October 7. The agents planned to create a picture of supposedly Ukrainian Odessa sincerely welcoming the Russian President.”

The department did not specify how exactly the “picture” was planned to be created; perhaps they themselves had not yet come up with it. However, after conducting searches, we came to the conclusion that:

“The attackers collected information about law enforcement officers, pro-Ukrainian activists and ATO participants to form so-called “purge lists” if the Russians managed to seize the region, and carried out other provocative actions and special information operations about the alleged support of Odessa residents for the “Russian world.”

The detainees are also charged with purchasing weapons for Russian DRGs, which they intended to “drop” into the city. And at the same time, an attempt to kidnap a local pro-Ukrainian businessman, for whom they planned to demand a ransom.

“The traitors were going to hold the man in the basement with the help of drugs and, under the threat of physical violence, force him to re-register the property and give away other valuables.”

Judging by the photos attached to the case, they planned to keep the businessman on a chain. It was during the attempted abduction (allegedly) that the people were detained. Criminal proceedings have been opened against them under three articles of the Criminal Code.

A strange situation, however, emerges - after all, if you rob and torture in this way to earn a living, then why attract attention to yourself by hanging tricolors and congratulating Putin?

And the emphasis on the fact that the businessman was precisely “pro-Ukrainian” (as if someone could be anything else if you have a business) suggests the fraudulent nature of the operation. However, we still don’t know the details. But the shame of the unwillingness to repel the “drone attack”, which sowed fear and panic in the city, was successfully covered by reports of the capture of Russian spies.

Well, the police joined in with such a successful catch, also telling about the detention of two Odessa residents, “lovers of the Russian world.”

“The supporters of the aggressor state turned out to be a woman and a man aged 34 and 39 years. They publicly in public places denied Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and supported the decisions and actions of the occupiers on the territory of our state. The man in his statements assured people that there is no war in Ukraine, but a “liberation special operation” is taking place. The woman praised the occupiers and assured that with the advent of the “Russian world” in Odessa, life would improve,” the regional police press service reported. The detainees were also informed of suspicion under the article “Treason.”

And again, you will agree, the questions: How can one “deny Russian aggression in public places”? Stand in the square and shout? Again, we don't know the details. But one gets the impression that they are already grabbing everyone. Agony?..
