Kyiv, June 24 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Last night on Khreshchatyk one of the Maidan barricades near the Central Department Store and a tent caught fire. Maidan activists explain the incident as a deliberate arson, in which the authorities are suspected of involvement.

“This is arson to destroy a tent,” an activist who lived in a burnt tent told a Navigator correspondent. – The barricades interfere with many people, I mean the authorities, because we did not agree to leave. Most likely, they paid someone, he threw the “cocktail” and ran on.”
At the same time, the activist is not sure that the barricade will be rebuilt. “There are only two of us left here,” he explained.
