Hungary’s position: Ukraine will see neither soldiers nor weapons

The Hungarians only voiced out loud what they were thinking in many Eastern European capitals. America is far across the ocean, and Russia is here, close by. And if something happens, it is precisely countries such as Hungary, Poland or Lithuania that have a chance to turn into nuclear dust. If, of course, they allow themselves to be drawn into a military adventure in Ukraine. That is why the Eastern Europeans several times denied reports from Kyiv about their alleged readiness to transfer military attack aircraft to Ukraine. Because it's fraught.
As for Hungary, it has already pulled up its military units to the border with Ukrainian Transcarpathia - officially - in order to control the flow of refugees, and unofficially - in full readiness, if anything happens, to cross the border in order to protect half-brothers in the Hungarian regions of the westernmost Ukrainian areas. Which, in the event of an unfavorable scenario for Ukraine, will actually fall under the protectorate of Budapest.
