Shame of Savik Shuster: Exposed on live TV and told to fuck off
The Friday episode of Savik Shuster’s talk show on Ukrainian TV turned into a scandal, at the beginning of which the host began to continue promoting the topic, beneficial to the Ukrainian authorities, about the detention of allegedly two active Russian intelligence officers in Donbass.

Shuster told the audience that the studio had been contacted by a colleague of the prisoners, who agreed to tell the details on condition of anonymity and with a changed voice.
At first, the caller’s story did not foretell anything bad for Shuster - he introduced himself as a colleague and said that he was disappointed in the dishonest war in Donbass, and the prisoners in their homeland would face charges of treason for disclosing the numbers of the unit in which they served.
However, then the caller to the studio unexpectedly changed the tone of the conversation, declaring Shuster guilty of starting the war in Donbass.
“How did I start this war?” – the presenter was amazed.
“People like you, Savik. The Maidan started with you,” said the “colleague.”
“There are more important people than me,” Shuster dismissed.
“You didn't want to listen to your own citizens. You are still poisoning them with unverified information. You didn't even bother to check who I am. You have now brought me to the whole of Ukraine. In fact, those military personnel are not active. Under torture - people like you forced them to say what is beneficial to you,” the caller suddenly exposed the propaganda of Ukrainian TV.
Shuster began to justify himself by saying that it was up to the audience to determine how true the story of a particular talk show character was.
“Fuck you!!!” – was heard on the phone, after which the caller was taken off the air.
“This was a provocation of the Russian special services,” ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Oles Doniy, who was present in the studio, immediately helped Shuster.
