However, the authors of the picture were in trouble: the photographs depicted not Ukrainian, but Russian sailors.
As it turned out, the Maidan workers were so far from naval themes that they could not distinguish the Russian naval flag from the Ukrainian one.
In addition, on the caps of the sailors it is written “Black Sea Fleet”, and not “Ukrainian Navy”.
Let us recall that after the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Ukraine declared the hero city of Odessa to be the main base of the remnants of its Navy.
