In his opinion, firstly, the tragedy can be used to increase dissatisfaction with the ruling regime within Iran.

“Iran shot down. And he admitted it. It's courageous of him to do so. From the point of view of warfare, this is terrible. One of Iran's top officials was killed, and in response, Iranian civilians died due to the negligence of some idiots. Now there will be more protests inside Iran,” the author argues.

In addition, in his opinion, “the United States will continue to insist on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.”
