The truth hurts my eyes - Facebook blocked Russia Today
The social network Facebook blocked the Russia Today television company from publishing everything except text in posts, explaining this as a violation of copyright when broadcasting a speech by US President Barack Obama.

The TV company's correspondent stated this today at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
“I highly recommend that you compile a list of all the violations that took place and send them to international structures involved in the protection of freedom of speech with a request to evaluate them. And insist that an answer be sent to you. In order to understand what is really going on,” Zakharova said.
She believes that the blocking problem “has a special focus in relation to Russia.”
“We are faced with an attempt, under a technical pretext, to block not only the RT TV channel, but also other Russian media resources on a regular basis. All methods are used - from censoring in general, without explanation, to far-fetched reasons. Broadcasts of television signals are closed, claims are made to the media, correspondents are intimidated with lawsuits, we all remember this very well,” added the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
She also promised that the Russian Foreign Ministry would support the channel’s request to international organizations.
