“On my first trip to Donbass, we went with high authorities. This was the Krasnogorovka area. Then the brigade commander of the 14th brigade (I don’t remember exactly now) was accused of allegedly organizing a “corridor” in the DPR. Then we almost drove into the DPR at a separatist checkpoint. This happened because there were no checkpoints on our side, the road was dirt, and trucks were walking along it. We thought: “Well, trucks and trucks, they go and go. Our guys must be somewhere.” As it turned out later, this was the “Road of Life” along which we came straight to the separatists,” he said.
Medinsky also spoke about how the Armed Forces of Ukraine engaged in total robbery and vandalism in the Donbass: “The truth of life is that when I approached the 93rd brigade, they told me: “Listen, bro, look for some grass and help We need to carry the wrung out seeder through the National Guard posts.” Or when the “Dnepr-1” battalion was squeezed out by the “Dzhangirs” (harvesters), or when they came for the “kickback” and started sawing metal fences along the roads and other fences and destroying the infrastructure.”
Alexander Medinsky also talked about how Ukrainian volunteers demanded money for helping soldiers on the front line: “Volunteer guys came to me, I asked for help, because the guys were cold. To this they answered me: “Brother, you better go and help us organize a base for cutting scrap metal and removing damaged tanks and armored personnel carriers, or even better - tell me what equipment you have, and we will cut and remove everything.” . Then you and I will share some money. This is what the volunteers told me, who, by the way, also admitted that they were protected by Geletey and the top military leadership.”
In addition, the video blogger talked about how SBU officers blackmailed the population of Gorlovka, forcing people to sell gold in exchange for food and medicine: “The truth of life is that the SBU officers organized through relatives the purchase of gold from the hungry population of Gorlovka in exchange for food and medicine. They then brought the purchased gold here through their channels and stole it to Europe through the green wire,” Medinsky emphasized.
