The appeal also expressed a request for the admission of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” and the “Lugansk People’s Republic” to the Russian Federation.
He sharply condemned the use of military aircraft and heavy weapons by the Kyiv authorities. According to Pushilin, just yesterday, according to preliminary estimates, the number of deaths among both the militia and the civilian population exceeds 100 people. In his opinion, this number will increase.
Also, the speaker of the Supreme Council of the DPR appealed to Putin with a request to prevent bloodshed, destruction of cities and the beginning of a humanitarian catastrophe. According to him, the appeal was drawn up in accordance with existing legal norms and submitted for consideration to the Secretariat of the President of the Russian Federation. According to Pushilin, he expects the Kremlin authorities to consider the appeal as soon as possible.
As Navigator reported, a similar appeal was sent on May 26, after the start of the active phase of the ATO in Donetsk. So far there has been no direct positive reaction from the Kremlin.
