“The transition period during the reunification of Crimea with Russia will take about a year. During this period, two currencies will circulate freely: the hryvnia and the ruble. Pension and social obligations, as well as salaries for public sector employees, will be maintained and indexed (increased) in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Replacement of passports will take place according to a simplified procedure. Property rights will be preserved and will only require formal and free re-registration. Diplomas issued to Crimeans by Ukrainian universities will be equal to Russian ones.

In general, Crimeans will not feel any discomfort,” the official promised.
