The government decided to celebrate Hitler's Drang nach Osten - State Duma deputy
The logo dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, is a shame and ugliness.
This is how Russian journalist, State Duma deputy Evgeny Primakov commented on it in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the parliamentarian, the logo in the form of arrows is depicted incorrectly from a historical point of view - according to the idea, the directions in it indicate the advance of the Soviet army on enemy positions, but Primakov notes that the arrows are set in the wrong direction.
“This is a disgrace and rubbish. This is the celebration of "Drang nach Osten". And such arrows should be blue, if that’s the case. Or be not from left to right - not from west to east - but on the contrary, even if there were several operations when our troops advanced to the east or counterattacked to the east. This logo is not a snapshot of one operation. This is a poster. The poster should summarize.
And, seeing this muck - I am well aware that I call the official logo of the 75th anniversary of the Victory muck - I believe that everyone on the list was idiots and/or saboteurs: from customers and performers to those who This is what he approved,” Primakov said.
He also stressed that he was not going to use this logo and called for a boycott of it.
“Dear friends, personally, I am never going to use this senseless rubbish in any form, despite any ruling. Moreover, I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to use the following form of this logo: turn the arrows of the same number “75” over - they should be directed from east to west, from right to left, only in this way will it become clear that our people fought against the evil that has come to us from Europe."
