According to the investment project, it is planned to build and reconstruct facilities in the passenger and VIP transportation zone, in particular, the construction of an air terminal complex.
“Funding in the amount of 2020 billion rubles is provided through budget funds within the framework of the Federal Target Program “Socio-economic Development of the Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol until 1,776”. for the creation of airport infrastructure. The reconstruction of the runway will be carried out by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Through private investment, it is planned to build an air terminal complex with an investment volume of 250-300 million rubles,” the project says.
Sevastopol Airport is located at an airfield jointly based with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation "Belbek" and belongs to the class "B" category. The technical parameters of the runway ensure the safe operation of aircraft of the Boeing 737 type and a class below. Completion of construction is planned for 2018.
