The government of Sevastopol decided to take over the city's balance sheet the official housing of the Ministry of Defense
Sevastopol, February 17 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) - The Governor of Sevastopol Sergei Menyailo took the initiative to accept service housing on the balance sheet of the city, which is on the balance sheet of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, since the military department did not have money for its maintenance.

Menyailo said this on Tuesday. According to him, we are talking about more than a hundred apartment buildings, with the exception of those located directly on the territory of military units. Currently, by his personal order, garbage is being removed from the local area of military service houses, since the Ministry of Defense does not allocate money for their maintenance. The governor noted that the city government understands that “someone must maintain the houses.”
“I think that next week the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense will make a decision on transferring the houses to the balance of the city. We take them into account and begin to fully service them,” Menyailo said, adding that “the right to distribute housing remains with the relevant ministry.”
“I think that next week we will have such a decision signed by the Minister of Defense, but now we are talking about what – that this solution is not enough. There is still a certain order. That is, we must inspect the houses as a commission and take them into account with the comments that exist. And then we will also put our budget under this,” the mayor clarified.
According to him, “ads are already hanging on these houses asking for a management company to be chosen,” while, Sergei Menyailo noted, state management companies are being offered to residents.
