“These living quarters were previously inspected by veterans and their representatives. According to the signed inspection sheets, the apartments were accepted by veterans and their representatives without complaints or any comments,” the government press service said in a statement.
According to the government, each of the apartments was handed over to veterans, renovated, equipped with a bathroom, heating, electricity and water supply. By decision of the developer, showers were additionally installed in the apartments, and electric stoves are planned to be installed.
“There are also no facts of one apartment being provided to two recipients. The apartments are new and differ only in layout,” the press service clarified.
However, the story did not end there. A relative of the veteran, who received half of the apartment, has already met with the capital’s correspondents from the radio “Moscow Speaks”.
“Of course, now everyone will say that there were no complaints. There were no complaints, yes, we accepted, I agree, but in case of refusal we would not have written anything anywhere, no information would have ever surfaced anywhere, because we refused, and refused, and goodbye, and wait for your turn, and come back year,” said the woman who introduced herself as Svetlana.
She repeated her complaints about the poor layout, lack of gas and heating. Although she herself hides her last name, the details of the retired veteran are given in full - Lyubov Trofimovna Legkodymova.
