“Permits for the start of construction work, issued before March 18, 2014, cease to be valid if, on the basis of these documents, it was intended to carry out construction in territories that, in accordance with the current urban planning documentation, belong to the green area,” explained the head of the department’s legal department of the apparatus of the governor and government of Sevastopol Anton Kalinichenko.
“This means that, regardless of when the documents were issued, it is not allowed to build on the territory of parks, squares, green areas. Some contractors are brazen. Their documents were issued in Ukraine, public hearings were not held, they put up fences and dig ditches. Take the strictest measures regarding such construction sites,” said city governor Sergei Menyailo.
