The Yatsenyuk government will instill respect for the UPA in Donbass
Kyiv, September 09 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk will instill in Donbass respect for the Ukrainian insurgent army, which fought against Soviet soldiers during the Great Patriotic War.
Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Affairs Alexander Sych made this clear in an interview with Focus magazine.

“We need a program for the socio-humanitarian rehabilitation of the region. We will gradually integrate these people into society so that they are not much different from average Ukrainians. Nobody is saying that they should immediately start honoring the UPA’s liberation struggle. Let’s start, perhaps, with an awareness of common values,” says the official.
