About it reports local publication Galnet.
The attack took place near the Lviv office of the Right Sector party on Mitskevich Square. As you can see in the video, a guy approached the “Lviv separatists” and started a conversation with them. At this time, Elena Boyko gets hit with brilliant green. In the video, you can only see the hand of the man who threw out the greenery, but looking closely, we can conclude that most likely this is the guy who started the conversation with the woman.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, The SBU boasted that it had “exposed” local separatists in Lviv who were “financed from Russia” and at the same time demanded “the accession of Galicia to the EU.”
As Galnet found out, the victim of the attack, Elena Boyko, wrote a statement to the police demanding that the attacker be brought to justice for hooliganism. The guy who is present in the video denies his involvement in dousing him with brilliant green. At the same time, he claims that he is outraged by the actions of representatives of the “Galician Hawk”, who on July 18 organized a rally in Lviv for “giving Galicia a special status” and on May 9 unfurled a red flag.
Elena Boyko herself assures that she has nothing to do with the organization of the rally, since she went to Khmelnytsky that day and shows the corresponding train tickets. She immediately blamed Right Sector for today’s incident and stated that she ended up at their office “by accident” because she was drinking tea in a cafe nearby.
The police, who arrived on call, interviewed the participants in the event and witnesses.
At the same time, it is not known exactly why the Security Service of Ukraine released Elena Boyko after her arrest. Then the security forces reported the detention of two “separatists” and the seizure of their equipment and evidence of their alleged financing from Russia. The SBU has not yet commented on the situation.
