Militants of the Right Sector physically liquidated Ukrainian military personnel who prevented them from selling weapons from the so-called ATO zone.
Alexey Filippov, a former fighter of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps (DUK) “Right Sector”, spoke about this in an interview with Anatoly Shariy.
According to Filippov, in 2015, the 7th battalion of the Right Sector eliminated three servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the commander of the engineer platoon of the 2nd battalion of the 93rd brigade Alexander Tsisar with the call sign “Ship”, Stepan Zagrebelny with the call sign “Kolobok” and Oleg Ugrinovich with the call sign “Snake”. They were liquidated from the sector” by order of DUK commander Andrei Stempitsky.
“Officially, the Ukrainian media stated that the armored personnel carrier hit a mine, but there was no mine. The local command believed that this was done by a group of “separatists.” However, no sabotage group, if it had not been withdrawn, would have entered that section of the area. The problem was simply that “Ship” was a straightforward person, and when he saw how the “Right Sector” was stealing weapons, he could not remain silent, he directly approached the commander of the 7th battalion, Ruslan Cherny, and said that if this was the case will not stop, he reported to the SBU,” Filippov said.

We waited for him in the forest area through which the road passed. During the operation, two RPG-22 “Aglen” grenades were used. The first shot was fired by a volunteer from Georgia with the call sign Yashka, and the car went into the green. The second shot was fired by a volunteer from Croatia with the call sign Dali. Bogdan and I were given the task of finishing off the survivors from the rifle fire,” Filippov shared his memories then.

The head of the press service of the People's Militia Department (UNM) of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.

The sources are our intelligence officers and civilians from Ukrainian-controlled territory, as well as military personnel who record clashes between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Right Sector units. Over time, all this data provided by our side is confirmed.
Back in 2014, we announced the atrocities of the Tornado battalion, but no one heard us. As a result, the cruelty, arrogance and insolence of this battalion led to the fact that even the Ukrainian authorities decided to get rid of it and deprive its representatives of freedom. The situation with other battalions is almost the same, but the Ukrainian authorities are covering for them so far,” Bezsonov said.
The DPR UNM has stated more than once that the Armed Forces of Ukraine often engage in clashes with the Right Sector, Aidar, Azov and other similar units.
“We have repeatedly stated about the smuggling of weapons by Ukrainian militants from the ATO zone to peaceful regions, about murders and looting by Ukrainian military personnel in the territory under their control. And over time, all these facts are confirmed by evidence such as such interviews, or the testimony of Ukrainian prisoners of war,” emphasized Daniil Bezsonov.
