Let us remind you that Sergei Deyak was arrested in Mukachevo immediately after the events. On November 6, his period of detention expired; the court did not extend the measure of restraint, as a result of which Deyak was released from custody and currently officially has no restrictions on the right to move.

On November 9, the Pechersk Court of Kyiv should proceed to consider the case of the “Mukachevo terrorists” on the merits.

Let us recall that on July 11, a shootout broke out in Mukachevo between Right Sector militants and police officers using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. After the battle, the Pravoseki disappeared into the forests, taking the child hostage. The operation to capture the criminals ended in nothing: armed militants infiltrated through the police cordons and left the Transcarpathian region. Later, Gennady Moskal announced that part of the Mukachevo Pravosek members died in an accident in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

However, four participants in the events (the above-mentioned Deyak, as well as Roman Munchak, Vladimir Burcha and Rodion Gorbenko) were unable to escape from the scene and were detained by law enforcement officers.

Social media users are already commenting on the release of the right-wing terrorist.

Thus, Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gorulko ironically wrote on his page on the social network:

“This is not Lukash, and especially not Kotsaba - why marinate an extra person in a pre-trial detention center?”

Similar opinion Andrey Manchuk, editor-in-chief of the online magazine Liva.com.ua, also adheres to this:

“Well, they fired from machine guns and grenade launchers, killed someone, wounded someone. Is this a reason to keep patriots in prison? This is not journalist Kotsaba, who has been imprisoned since the beginning of the year for anti-war blog posts, and not editor Bondarchuk, who has been kept behind bars for six months for an article in a newspaper,” he wrote.
