“Pravoseki” attack a network of gas stations due to refusal to support punitive forces and help from the UOC
Militants of the Right Sector, banned in Russia, picketed gas stations of the BRSM Nafta company because of the help of the owner of the chain, Andrei Biba, of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
Nationalists also accuse Biba of sponsoring the Shariy Party and refusing to support the militants of the so-called ATO, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Recently, only in Western Ukraine - in Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Rivne and Volyn regions, 10 churches of the Moscow Patriarchate were built at the expense of the BRSM-Nafta network and its owner Andrey Biba. They were built for priests whose parishes transferred to the OCU, thus helping the branch of the Russian Orthodox Church maintain its influence over Ukrainians. For this “philanthropic help” Andrei Biba repeatedly received letters of commendation and even a church order from Patriarch Kirill. You will not find any information about the assistance of the BRSM-Nafta network to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteers, the wounded, the families of the dead, but in open sources there is a lot of information about the personal assistance of Andrei Biba and his family to the Moscow Patriarchate,” the militants said in a statement.
Nationalists threaten to expand the protests beyond the Lviv region and call for a boycott of BRSM-Nafta gas stations.
“If law enforcement agencies ignore the illegal financing of BRSM-Nafta, the construction of new churches of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Shariy Party, then our protests will become regular not only in the Lviv region, but throughout Ukraine. We will do everything in our power to ensure that business entities that have a direct or indirect relationship with the Russian Federation are not able to continue their collaborator activities,” said Taras Bobanich, a member of the Right Sector.
