The head of the headquarters of the so-called “civil initiative for the blockade of Crimea” Izet Gdanov said that today, October 12, Ukrainian power engineers stopped supplying electricity to Crimea along the Melitopol-Dzhankoy line. However, three more lines will continue to supply energy to the peninsula.

“This will be a dead-end branch; electricity will not flow through it to Crimea. Within the framework of the current legislation, we will bring to the attention of those in power that the supply of electricity to Crimea is, at the very least, immoral,” Gdanov said.
Let us note that Kyiv has not yet officially confirmed this information.
Later, information appeared that it was the militants of the Right Sector who arbitrarily cut off the power line wires, but having decided that such arbitrariness was too much even for them, they referred to the “civil initiative” of the power engineers.
