Right-wing activists under the Poroshenko administration demand Avakov’s resignation
Several hundred Right Sector activists near the Presidential Administration building are demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

Activists note that among them there are representatives of patriotic forces and, in particular, volunteer battalions.
Participants noted that the action will continue until the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
Earlier, the Right Sector announced a picket near the presidential administration building in Kyiv due to today’s events in Transcarpathia.
Today in Mukachevo, on the territory of the Antares health and sports club on Lermontov Street, a shootout took place with the participation of Right Sector militants. President Poroshenko instructed law enforcement officers to disarm and detain the shooters in Mukachevo.
After this, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Avakov, announced that a special operation had been launched in Transcarpathia to disarm and detain the Right Sector activists.
Arsen Avakov also added that, using grenade launchers, the Right Sector in Mukachevo destroyed two police cars, wounded four civilians and three police officers.
According to the prosecutor's office, 6 police officers and three civilians were injured of varying degrees of severity. The prosecutor’s office also noted that there were 5 victims of armed persons with the inscription “Right Sector”.
At the same time, “PS” reported that as a result of the shooting in Mukachevo, two Right Sector fighters were killed and four were wounded.
The investigative department of the prosecutor's office of the Transcarpathian region has launched an investigation into the creation of a criminal organization and a terrorist act.
