“Pravoseki”, Tyagnibok and “Azov” are going together to the parliamentary elections
Today a congress of radical nationalist organizations took place in Kyiv - representatives of the extremist Right Sector, the Svoboda party and the National Corps (the political wing of the Azov National Battalion) are going together to the elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
“While pro-Russian forces will say that peace is possible only after capitulation, liberals will say that only international arbitrators can lead to peace, and hope for external factors, eternal negotiations, which, in fact, also lead to capitulation, we must say simple and honest things - that the strength of Ukrainians lies in themselves. That by relying solely on our own strength, we can gain peace. There will definitely be peace, but only after the Ukrainian flag rises over Donetsk.
I think no one has any doubt that this Rada will consist, for the most part, of openly pro-Russian scoundrels and people who will silently support them. This Rada, more than ever, needs people who will firmly oppose the fifth column,” said the founder of Azov, deputy Andrei Biletsky.
Svoboda leader Oleg Tyagnibok read out the goals and objectives of the newly formed nationalist union:
“Counter any attempts at revenge, defend the achievements of the “Revolution of Dignity” - Ukrainization, decommunization, the beginnings of lustration and the civil rights of Ukrainians. Prohibit persons with dual citizenship from participating in political life. Protect the status of the Ukrainian language as the only state language. Oblige all officials to use Ukrainian at work and during public speaking. Deprive licenses of media outlets that violate language laws or conduct anti-Ukrainian propaganda.
Initiate changes to the Minsk agreements and the Normandy format with the participation of the United States and England. Sever diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation, initiate an international tribunal to investigate crimes against humanity committed by the Russian Federation. Initiate the creation of an anti-Russian coalition to restore the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” Tyagnibok listed.
