Pravoseki threaten to disrupt a performance in Russian in Dnepropetrovsk
Ukrainian nationalists are planning to disrupt a performance of Ukrainian classics in Dnepropetrovsk because it will be in Russian.
This is reported on the official website of the DUK "Right Sector", reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“On April 11, the Dnieper Academic Drama and Comedy Theater will show a play based on Lesya Ukrainka’s work “The Forest Song.” Everything would be fine, but for some reason this extravaganza drama was translated into Russian. The local department of culture, religion and nationalities did not react to this fact. From this we can conclude that they support the expansion of Ukrainian youth by the Russian occupier. Precisely for young people, because this drama by Lesya Ukrainka is included in the school curriculum. Such Russification of Ukrainian literature affects the quality of studying the national language, which will negatively affect the processes of the state and the formation of the Ukrainian Independent Cathedral State.
“Nations do not die from heart attacks. First, their tongue is taken away,” wrote Lina Kostenko. That is why the national liberation movement “Right Sector” will resist Russification in the Dnieper with all its might!” they write on the Right Sector website.
