Today in Ukraine there are a lot of real heroes in whom society shows no interest.
Ukrainian nationalist, ex-combatant of the so-called ATO Dmitry Korchinsky said this on the air of the UkrLife Internet channel, commenting on the proposal of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman to award the title of hero of the country to boxer Alexander Usik, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the radical, in Ukraine the authorities are indifferent to the militants, who, according to Korchinsky, are the true heroes.
“Usyk is a popular person, and Groysman suggests giving him a hero of Ukraine. Listen, we now have a full DUK of the “Right Sector” of heroes. We have people who are outstanding fighters, outstanding warriors. These are people with enormous self-sacrifice, these are real heroes. Now we have enough real, non-historical heroes - those who are with us now. Nobody knows them and there is no public interest in them as individuals,” Korchinsky said.
