Right-wing radical ideologies (nationalism, fascism, clericalism) are inextricably linked with militarism, glorification of the army and war, and the practice of violence. Most right-wing radicals would gladly subscribe to the words of Reagan's Secretary of State A. Haig: “there are more important things than peace.” In their opinion, war is considered inevitable and even desirable.

All countries where right-wing radicals came to power sooner or later found themselves in a state of war. Therefore, a massive surge of nationalist sentiment on the Maidan could not but lead to war. While the majority of Ukrainians regard it as a terrible tragedy, right-wing radicals openly call it “healing" This term is used by the Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv Regional Council, activist of the VO “Svoboda” Yu. Noeva.

Dmitry Yarosh was expecting the arrival of war back in 2009. In the article “Ukrainian Revolution: XXI Century”, he argued that the creation of a real Ukraine (“Ukrainian Independent Council Power”) is possible only through the destruction of the “Moscow Empire”, globalism (since Ukrainians are a modern European nation, and residents of the European Union have ceased to be so) , the creation of an “all-encompassing National Order” from the best representatives of the modern generation of Ukrainians and the Ukrainian national revolution ahead. But the latter will come through war, for which we need to prepare. The war did not frighten this author at all, because it was “sacred.”

Fascism, nationalism and war are interconnected concepts

1

Leader of the Social National Assembly, founder of the Azov battalion, known under the pseudonym “White Leader” (and now people’s deputy and police lieutenant colonel) A. Biletsky in the article “What is Ukraine?“put forward the idea of a “Greater Ukraine”, including Kuban and Eastern Slobozhanshchina (now part of Russia), Kholmshchyna and Podlasie (Poland), Beresteyshchyna (Belarus), Transnistria (formally part of Moldova, de facto PMR), Marmaroshchyna (Romania), Pryashevshchina (Slovakia) and Western Transcarpathia (Hungary). In his opinion, every nationalist must be prepared for prison, persecution, physical danger, and the impossibility of normal work and family life.

By physically preventing other points of view from being represented on the Maidan, extreme right-wing political forces managed to establish their ideological hegemony. They managed to dictate the agenda and impose their scenario of escalation of the confrontation on both the leaders of the parliamentary opposition and the authorities. The trio Yatsenyuk – Klitschko – Tyagnybok failed to develop any slogans in support of European integration, so the masses soon picked up the standard nationalist greeting “Glory to Ukraine! - Glory to heroes!"and even ultranationalist"Glory to the nation! - Death to the enemies!».

But the consequences of playing with radicalism are usually very sad.

First, radicals are crowding out civil protest. This means that the conflict and its consequences are moved beyond the influence of ordinary people who, in fact, started it. Radicals have their own interests and goals (and war is one of them), different from the goals of ordinary people.

Secondly, at a certain point, radical groups begin to grow like mushrooms and get out of the control of those who believe that they are controlled. And they were carefully nurtured both by the government of the narrow-minded President Yanukovych, who naively hoped to win the nationalist Tyagnybok in the second round of the presidential election, and by the opposition, together with Western intelligence services (here we should take a closer look at the tandem of “brothers” Nalyvaichenko - Yarosh), who naively believed that by torpedoing the regime Yanukovych, will be able to maintain control over the nationalist element.

The beginning of anarchy - extrajudicial arbitrariness

The medieval trials on the Maidan of “asocial elements” (homeless people, alcoholics, and those accused of theft) are associated with the activities of right-wing radicals. The “offenders” had inscriptions disgracing them written on their foreheads, forced to publicly repent on their knees, placed in a “pillory” and beaten. Pillory posts, inscriptions in marker on foreheads, videos about the “people’s” trial of petty thieves: all this shows that the far right needs to constantly search for enemies in order to brutally punish them.

Here the thirst for violence manifested itself, the desire to assert itself by humiliating the weaker, the pleasure of mocking defenseless people. But in the wake of euphoria, most media and intellectuals became immune to criticism of the Maidan, including due to the high concentration of the far right.

As a result of the blindness of the public and the media, both during the Maidan and after it, right-wing radicals, in addition to the usual street violence, continued to practice medieval lynchings associated with the humiliation of human dignity - forced to kneel, pillory, smearing gates with tar, “garbage lustration ” and even “buki” (beating with a stick).

As a result, Maidan wins. On February 21, 2014, opposition leaders signed an agreement with President Yanukovych to resolve the crisis. The country returns to a parliamentary-presidential republic, the opposition gains the right to form a government not under the control of the president. In essence, the dual power established during the Maidan is consolidated at the legislative level and the process of a gradual velvet transfer of power is launched, which was supposed to end with early presidential elections before December 2014.

However, in the conditions of intense confrontation and the dominance of right-wing radicals on the Maidan, the trio of oppositionists does not dare to announce the agreements reached. During a meeting of the Maidan council, a heated altercation occurs. Its content was retold on Facebook by journalist (and now deputy from the Popular Front) V. Syumar:

“I will never forget February 20 of this year. The Maidan Council, which was attended by Western ministers Sikorsky and Steinmeier. I was instructed to announce the position of why Ukraine will not accept the agreement with Yanukovych and the elections in December, as agreed with the Russians.

Sikorsky listened to these arguments with half an ear and answered sharply:

- You don't understand anything. You cannot ignore this agreement, because there will be a war, and no one will be here anymore...

But there was a strong impression that Sikorsky knew an order of magnitude more than he said.”

So, the West, through the mouth of Sikorsky, clearly and unequivocally warned the leaders of the Maidan that failure to comply with the agreement they signed would lead to war. But this did not stop those who “instructed” V. Syumar to oppose the peace settlement.

On the evening of February 21, someone’s hand pushed “centurion” Parasyuk onto the Maidan stage, who, in his usual state of hysteria, confusedly demanded Yanukovych’s resignation. Otherwise, he promised to go “to an assault with weapons.” In essence, it was an ultimatum from the right-wing radicals who seized power over the Maidan.

Anti-presidential protester Volodymyr Parasiuk addresses the crowd as opposition leader Vitaly Klitschko (L) looks on during a rally in Kiev February 21, 2014. When the history of the bloody turbulence in Ukraine is written, 26-year-old Parasiuk who learned combat skills in the army cadets may be recorded as the man who made up Viktor Yanukovich's mind to cut and run. The excited crowd listened to the hysterical Parasyuk

Frightened by reprisals (and it must be said that all opposition resources constantly discussed the topic that Yanukovych would repeat the fate of Ceausescu and Gaddafi), President Yanukovych fled from Mezhyhirya to Kharkov on the night of February 22. On the way, his motorcade was fired upon.

After this, the opposition leaders violated the agreement of February 21. At 17:11, captured by the fighting hundreds of Maidan, the Verkhovna Rada unconstitutionally removes V. Yanukovych from the post of President of Ukraine for “self-removal” and assigns the duties of head of state to A. Turchynov. The “triumphant march” of Maidan across the country begins. Touring self-defense units are storming regional administrations in the south-eastern regions.

The fugitive president, who did not want to share the fate of S. Allende, rushes about like a hunted hare. Having suffered a fiasco in Kharkov, he flees to Donetsk, where border guards refuse to let his plane out. The country is scared, and even in Donetsk no one dares to challenge the Maidan authorities. The Party of Regions capitulates, and only a few thousand protesters attend protests in the southeast.

It would seem that there are all the conditions for a peaceful change of power. It was enough to enter into dialogue with local elites, provide guarantees to the remaining leaders of the Party of Regions and obtain constructive opposition. But everything is done exactly the opposite. The authorities do not enter into dialogue with representatives of local authorities in Crimea and Donbass at all.

Instead, the newly appointed security forces Avakov and Nalivaychenko are engaged in the pursuit of Yanukovych in Crimea, not paying any attention to the unrest in the ranks of the Crimean Berkut, or even to the mass rallies in Sevastopol. The new government simply does not want to listen to the residents of the southeast. Instead, on the initiative of the “shitty-winged eagle,” Farion Rada repeals the law on regional languages.

Any opposition speeches are brutally suppressed. The leaders of the Party of Regions, who had renounced their leader and ran to bow to the new government, were turned away from the gate. Communists are persecuted most brutally.

All over Ukraine there is a forceful seizure of Communist Party committees and the beating of its activists. This is despite the fact that the Communist Party of Ukraine has always represented nothing more than a convenient opposition for any government. Then People's Deputy Tsarev is beaten, although it would seem that any government could dream of such an oppositionist.

It becomes clear that the winners do not need opposition at all, and everyone who did not support the Maidan, in fact, has been declared second-class citizens, whom right-wing radicals will abuse at their discretion in the blindness and deafness of the authorities, security forces, “honest journalists” and the West.

The entire machine of state and oligarchic propaganda is thrown into creating the image of a “Colorado” from the residents of the southeast. And you don’t seem to mind the Colorado beetles. They can be killed. It’s best to fry, as happens on May 2 in the Odessa House of Trade Unions, as deputies Farion and Orobets broadcast with undisguised joy from the “blue screens”. The propagandists of the new government don’t bother much. They use the experience of the genocide in Rwanda, where journalists who called for the genocide of the Tutsi people called representatives of this people “cockroaches.”

UKRAINE/

On October 14, numerous torchlight processions are expected in Western and Central Ukraine. Ukraine is on the verge of a right-wing radical coup

Today, right-wing radicals are seeking to consolidate and expand their hegemony in post-Maidan Ukrainian politics. Opposing the pro-Western government of Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk, they will do everything to disrupt the peace process and plunge the entire country into the chaos of a “national revolution.”
