“Right Sector” did not dare to launch a new assault on the Rada (PHOTO, VIDEO)
Kyiv, March 28 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – “Right Sector” did not dare to storm the Verkhovna Rada. Today's rally of radical nationalists near parliament was peaceful and ended after the plenary session closed.
The issue of the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, contrary to yesterday’s promises of some people’s deputies, was not included on the agenda. Only a parliamentary commission has been created to clarify the circumstances of the murder of Alexander Muzychko, based on the results of which they will allegedly make a decision on Avakov’s resignation.

It is worth noting that the commission will also include activists from nationalist organizations, including those belonging to the Right Sector. The chairman of the commission, Yuriy Derevyanko, told Naigator about this. At the same time, right-wing radicals gain access to all documents requested by the commission as part of the investigation, and are also given the right to vote on an equal basis with people’s deputies - members of the commission.
Delegated to the commission from the Right Sector, Oleg Odnorozhenko, one of the leaders of the Patriot of Ukraine organization, noted in a comment to Navigator that we should talk not only about the resignation of Avakov, but also the complete liquidation of the police, which, according to him, should be replaced There should be new bodies similar to people's squads. Oleg Odnorozhenko is also convinced of the need to make firearms as accessible as possible to the population. The commission will also include an activist of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, the commander of one of the hundreds of Maidan Self-Defense Nikolai Kokhanivsky, who gained fame after he damaged the nose of the Lenin monument in Bessarabka with a sledgehammer.
But Andrei Pavlovsky, a representative of Batkivshchyna in parliament, believes that the Right Sector is unwittingly “playing along with Putin’s aggressive plans.” “Some people, sincere patriots, but politically naive, can be used by Russian intelligence agents and saboteurs to destabilize the situation,” the politician told a Navigator correspondent. “This is exactly what Putin is trying to achieve in order to send troops to Kyiv.”
The Right Sector rejects such accusations and states that the organization “is at the forefront of the fight against Russia’s imperial encroachments.”
