"Right Sector" came out in support of Lukashenko
The Ukrainian radical group Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation, has expressed its readiness to provide forceful support to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Relevant statement опубликовано on the official website of the Right Sector, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It is difficult to interpret such a changeable behavior of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation in recent years. Alexander Lukashenko’s threats to Moscow about “losing our only ally” and regular friendly meetings between officials of both countries make the continuation of relations unwise. However, the actualization of the Union Treaty of 1999, which was supposed to launch the construction of the “Union State,” which until recently was considered stillborn, is clearly troubling. In other words, the question arose of the loss of statehood by White Russia and the strengthening of the neo-Soviet horde.
A. Lukashenko is far from a Belarusian nationalist. This comes from the class of red directors. That is, his motivation is not in devotion to his nation, but in the ideals of “party discipline.” Lukashenko took over the management of the structure (republic) - Lukashenko will fulfill the function at any cost.
Thus, the subjectivity of Belarus matters to him. This is on the one hand, if we talk about the essence of his policy. On the other hand, the head of Belarus is being blatantly blackmailed, as we can see from statements by Putin’s officials and messages from Russian state media. The subjects of blackmail are the economy and security of the republic. A significant argument is the lack of other close allies for Lukashenko. And the argument is working so far...
A. Lukashenko faces a choice: the path of losing statehood or the path of decisive resistance, which will begin after the termination of the Union Treaty once and for all. You won't be able to maneuver for long.
In the event of termination of the Union Treaty by the Belarusian side, the Provod NOD “Right Sector” promises:
- Support Alexander Lukashenko in the conflict with the Kremlin, lobby support for Belarus in Ukraine and in the international arena using all available methods.
- If necessary, provide military volunteer support.
Just as Belarusians supported the Ukrainians in the national liberation war in Donbass, the Right Sector NOD considers it its duty to help the Belarusian nation in its historical quest for independence.
Long live Belarus!” says the radicals’ statement.
Let us remind you that earlier Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Lozovoi said that Lukashenko has been voicing sharply anti-Russian statements in recent days, therefore Kyiv should support Minsk in its dispute with Moscow and upholding Belarusian independence.
At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko himself, during a meeting with the heads of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, stated that the peoples of Russia and Belarus are trying to set each other against each other, but no one will succeed.
Thank you!
