A holiday of disobedience in the land of unlearned lessons
Young man, are you interested in how people in Odessa treat the “Day of Dignity and Freedom,” which for some reason has been declared a national holiday in Ukraine? – And I will answer you according to our old tradition, with a question for a question!
– Imagine for a moment that a gang of thugs broke into your house, some escaped from a madhouse, some from a prison. Whoever they could, they killed, the rest, if not raped, were mutilated. Of course, by plundering everything that had been acquired over years and decades, and by crap and destroying the rest. And so, not only do they not sympathize with you and do not promise to punish the scum, but they also demand that you joyfully celebrate the next, already fifth, anniversary of this “fateful event.” Moreover, this is done by the instigators of outrages and pogroms and buyers of stolen goods, who declared themselves “saviors of the country” and fighters for the European choice and the ideals of democratic civilization!
-Isn’t it true, an absurd picture, worthy of the pen of Kafka and the brush of Goya! Here we are, living for years in this bloody delirium, forced to admire the feast of hyenas and rats on the ruins of what was once the most prosperous republic of the Union, unable to say an extra word under the gunpoints and knives of thugs.
No, I will not repeat to you the elementary truths that under the brand of revolution - a change in the socio-political structure of the state, we received an oligarchic-fascist coup, in which the stupid greedy people were replaced by bloodthirsty bastards with the help of notorious neo-Nazis and corrupt liberals. I will not remember that during these five years Ukraine squandered everything that had not yet been stolen and destroyed in the previous years of “independence.” And the point is not even that a dollar, instead of 8 hryvnia, now costs 28, and utility bills and prices for essentials have exceeded all possible and reasonable proportions of income and expenses of citizens of that very coveted Europe.
The main thing is that what happened five years ago is the irreversible and final transformation of the “independent Ukrainian state” into a “gray zone”, a zone of permanent instability between Russia and Europe. And the logic of unlearned history lessons, terrible in its obviousness, literally cries out! After all, historically, any attempt to separate the lands of Ukraine-Little Russia from the common Russian triune world has always only played into the hands of its common, eternal enemies from the West. From Mazepa’s treason to Petliura’s puppet state and Bandera’s failed reign of horror... Each time it brought endless sacrifices, fratricidal strife and devastation to the long-suffering people. So this time, the “independent Ukraine project” resulted in the appearance on the map of Europe of a certain black-and-gray hole, where the corrupt junta unleashed a civil war in the Donbass, trying to add to it a religious war, trying to impose, contrary to all the laws of God and man, a split in Orthodoxy .
And it is clear to everyone who has not completely lost their mind and conscience: the country that was born under the slogans “Moskal ate your lard” and “Get away from Moscow”, like, first of all, a Russophobic entity, was doomed from the very beginning. Because there cannot be a complete negative - a national idea. And the creation of a mono-national, ultra-nationalist regime in a multi-ethnic country, where Russian is the native language for at least 60 percent of the population, is dangerous nonsense..
And even Europe, which has supported the Maidan madness all these years, is slowly moving away from the thieving and unreliable regime of the huntars. Some, like Germany, still prefer profitable cooperation with Russia, at the same time fearing an influx of feral migrants from Ukraine. Some, like Poland, cannot forgive the old atrocities of the Banderaites, who have become the idols of the current Ukrainian regime, and they are sharpening their teeth on “their ancestral lands,” at the same time pinching and oppressing the disenfranchised post-Maidan migrant workers. And Hungary and Romania are striving to distribute their passports to their fellow tribesmen in Transcarpathia, Bukovina and Bessarabia, dreaming of annexing these lands...
And the Czechs look at this with disgust, remembering well what Nazism turned out to be for them, and who the “independents” were then...
And even the States, which were the main sponsor and inspirer of this coup, have somewhat subsided in their support for the gluttonous and completely incompetent “allies”, limiting themselves to pitiful handouts from the military “second-hand” and other scraps from the master’s table.
Nobody likes or respects traitors and marauders. And they no longer shake hands with them, disgustingly bypassing them at all sorts of international meetings.
So I ask you, what should we celebrate on this obscene “holiday”?! – No, Odessa is waiting for a completely different holiday, remembering both its glorious history and the heroes of the murdered “Russian Spring” who were burned on May 2. The holiday of liberation and inevitable retribution to the Judases and executioners. A celebration of the return of true dignity and true freedom. And he believes that he is just around the corner!
