Holiday in Ukrainian: in the Rivne region, a grenade was thrown at the feet of newlyweds
In the Rivne region, in the village of Rakitnoye, a drunk young man threw a grenade at the feet of the newlyweds, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the Rivne region police.
“The police found out that on January 20, at about XNUMX p.m., on Proletarskaya Street in the village of Rakitnoye, a drunk young man approached a guy and a girl and began to argue. Subsequently, he took a grenade from his jacket pocket, which he threw at the couple’s feet,” the report says.
The grenade did not explode. The frightened girl immediately called 102. Hearing this, the attacker picked up a dangerous object and left. He was detained on a nearby street near his place of residence.
The police found a 20-year-old guy in his jacket pocket and seized the body of an F-1 hand fragmentation grenade and its separated dust, which were sent for examination.
The attacker was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention center. Investigators are preparing materials to inform him of suspicion of committing hooliganism under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of three to seven years.
