The Ukrainian website “Tribuna” in the “Photo of the Day” section publishes photographs from the stadium where the riots took place. The photo clearly shows that Ukrainian fans use openly Nazi symbols, ranging from the symbols of the Azov regiment with the SS rune “Wolfsangel” (“Wolf Hook”), ending with the classic Hitler swastika from the flag of the NSDAP and the Third Reich.
Let us remind you that it was these fans who actively supported Euromaidan and participated in clashes with Berkut at Grushevsky Street in Kyiv in the winter of 2014.
At the same time, speaking on the Maidan in front of a large crowd of neo-Nazi football fans, the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko publicly promised to restore at his own expense the Lobanovsky stadium destroyed by right-wing militants. However, Poroshenko never fulfilled his promise.
