Simferopol resident Stanislav Stetsenko, who committed high treason and began espionage in the interests of the Ukrainian special services, was sent to a maximum security colony for 12 years.
The corresponding sentence came into force today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the press service of the FSB Directorate.
Last year, a man used special equipment to receive information about Russian military aviation flights over Crimea.
“The information received was sent to them by representatives of Ukrainian intelligence via a secure messenger. For completing tasks Stetsenko S.P. received a total of $1300,” the FSB said in a statement.
