Putin's proposal to take away ships from Crimea turned out to be trolling Ukrainians
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal to take the Ukrainian Navy ships remaining in Crimea to Odessa should be perceived rather as trolling, the head of the Crimean NTV bureau Oleg Kryuchkov argues in his blog.

“For the ships, otherwise the jingoistic patriots have already started getting hysterical. There are about fifty of them. Forty are complete scrap metal, ten are exhibits for the museum. Four years without crews, supported only by buoyancy. Suitcases without handles. Expensive to maintain and repair.
Nobody is going to give away the ammunition, but it is not in Ukraine and it is impossible to buy it. There is no such ammunition on the market. Repairing and re-equipping this rubbish will take several of the “Nezalezhnaya” budgets.
On the plus side. The berths, bays and personnel who kept this trash from sinking will be freed. The budget of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be pretty battered by this gesture of “good will”.
My forecast is that they will not take it, there is no money and it is not known,” writes Kryuchkov.
