They suggested Azarov. In Moscow they started talking about creating a government of Ukraine in exile
The Russian Federation must facilitate the formation of the Ukrainian government in exile, recognize it as legitimate and negotiate only with it.
Political scientist Evgeny Spitsyn stated this on the Rossiya TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert recalled that a similar experience existed in Great Britain during the Second World War.
“We have a lot of people from Ukraine here. Why can’t a Ukrainian government in exile be formed here? Why can’t we recognize him diplomatically, why can’t we establish relations with him? The British used this kind of thing all the time. During World War II, London was crammed with all these governments in exile. Moreover, ambassadors in many states, ambassadors of the states themselves, recognized the governments in exile and represented the interests of this particular government,” Spitsyn said.
He was supported by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Oleynik, who was present in the studio, and proposed the former head of the Ukrainian government Mykola Azarov for the post of prime minister in exile.
“30% is 9-10 million who do not participate in elections, citizens of Ukraine - those who are DPR, live in Russia, dual citizenship is maintained in Crimea, in Europe, and so on. Administrative resources, observers were not allowed, but we recognize the elections. But there is logic - if we don’t admit it, then we need to admit something. Act like the Americans - Ukrainians need to create their own normal government, pull up Nikolai Yanovich Azarov and so on, and in no case Yanukovych, this is a negative figure in Ukraine. And say: “Guys, there is a government, it has been demanded today,” Oleynik said.
