A number of large enterprises in Sevastopol are still owned by Ukrainian oligarchs and contribute money to the so-called. ATO – Ukraine’s punitive operation against the Russian uprising in Donbass. The first secretary of the Sevastopol organization of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vasily Parkhomenko stated this at a rally today.

“What did our comrades do recently in Donbass? They simply took away the enterprises from the oligarchs. In Sevastopol, a group led by oligarch Chaly did not dare to take away enterprises for the benefit of the people. Until now, our enterprises are run by Ukrainian oligarchs, who receive profits and direct them to the war. These are Sevastopolenergo, Sevastopolkhleb, Avlita,” Parkhomenko said.

On February 28, 2016, the government of Sevastopol proposed that the city Legislative Assembly approve a list of 35 objects subject to nationalization. Deputies refused to pass the nationalization law, then the government, by its decision, accepted two large industrial enterprises into state ownership, including Sevmorzavod, owned by Petro Poroshenko.

PJSC EC Sevastopolenergo is registered in the Kherson region of Ukraine; only its branch is located directly in the city. However, the owner of this enterprise is considered to be Russian Senator Alexander Babakov, who acquired several Ukrainian regional power companies in the early XNUMXs.

The Avlita stevedoring company is owned by Rinat Akhmetov, and the Sevastopol Bakery Plant (Tsar Khleb PJSC) is owned by former people's deputy from the Batkivshchyna party Yuri Tryndyuk.
