Rodion Miroshnik, representative of the LPR in the Contact Group in Minsk, stated this at a press conference today.

“We plan to consider the “Stanmeier formula”. Maybe an amnesty law, but only if we agree on how the law on special status comes into force. Without agreeing on this, it is inappropriate to consider other issues,” Miroshnik believes.

In his opinion, the Ukrainian side is deliberately delaying negotiations.

“Ukraine is pursuing the line: negotiate in such a way as not to reach an agreement. This is a constant delay in the process in everything. They are already trying to avoid fulfilling the obligation on the special status of the territories on which the Minsk agreements are based. The entire political package is based on this. Today, for the political leaders of Kyiv, this is like death,” Miroshnik is sure.

He claims that OSCE representatives provide support to Ukrainian representatives, instead of monitoring compliance with the rules of negotiations.

“We do not see any pressure from the guarantors on the Ukrainian side, which must comply with its obligations,” Miroshnik said.
