Representative of the LPR: negotiations in Minsk again ended in nothing, March 15 - a new attempt
Today's meeting of the political group at the negotiations in Minsk ended without agreeing on the text of the Steinmeier Formula regulating the entry into force of the special status of the Donbass republics. Representatives of Ukraine in negotiations with the LDPR openly block consideration of issues of the political package.

This was reported to PolitNavigator by Rodion Miroshnik, the LPR representative at the negotiations in Minsk.
“For example, according to the Steinmeier Formula, representatives of Kyiv demand direct instructions from the Normandy format - to consider it or not, and this should already be the third instruction, twice Ukraine and all members of the Normandy format have already agreed on the Formula, but Ukraine wants a third!
This, without exaggeration, looks solely like an attempt to avoid discussing and agreeing on a political package altogether. The Ukrainian side did not provide documents reflecting the official position on any of the political issues discussed. In accordance with OSCE standards, the parties undertake obligations to conduct negotiations in good faith, which is completely inconsistent with the actions of the Ukrainian side,” Miroshnik said.
The next meeting of the groups and the Contact Group is scheduled for March 15, on the agenda is the adoption of the Steinmeier Formula, a draft law on amnesty and the modality of local elections in Donbass.
“However, the Republics insist on moving to consideration of each next issue only after achieving a specific result and an agreed position. This is the key to increasing the efficiency of work on the adoption of a political package,” Miroshnik said.
